This is where I planned to discuss everything hockey related about my favourite team, the Vancouver Canucks. A friend tells me I need to 'label' my posts so they're easier to sort through so I guess I'll be doing that from here on out.
My earliest memories of the Canucks are probably 1982, the year the boys found themselves in the Finals with King Richard Broduer in net, Ron Delorme punching people out and Roger Nielson waving the white flag in Chicago. I was hooked from a young age and try really hard not to miss a game on TV ever since.
I've seen it all from empty stands to hard to get a ticket, year after year of losing to now year after year of high hopes and let downs. This year, The Hockey News has picked the Canucks as their favourite to win the Stanley Cup. I don't recall ever hearing that from a major Eastern based publication, but as all Canucks fans know, we'll believe it when we see it.
Good luck to the boys in 2010-2011, I'll be watching and reporting my thoughts throughout the year.
