80's Dating Video, Special from Youtube

Couldn't resist throwing this gem of a video up. Clips taken from dating services video in the 1980's.  I think some of these folks might still be available if any of you ladies are in the market!  I don't know why I've never tried this pick up line myself, "Life is a playground, and I'm looking for someone to, uhm, play with."

Pet of the Week : Pinky the Cat

Couldn't resist adding this timeless piece to my collection.  Pinky is rather feisty! I felt bad for the poor bugger while he's doing his flips and jukes, then laughed at the misfortune of the poor soul holding the leash.  Let this be another lesson, that leashes are for dogs, cages are for cats.

Louis CK Hits

I decided to share some funny Louis CK clips today.  About a year ago I saw him Live and in person downtown in the big city. It was a good show, if not for the fact we had to walk 10 blocks in the heaviest downpour of rain I'd seen in a long time.  Crammed into the little seats at the Orpheum, soaking wet, full of meat from the Brazilian Samba BBQ place we ate at, kind of put a 'damper' on things, but it was still a good show.

Enjoy the magic of stand up.

WARNING : Not for the little ones!

Youtube Video - The Bar Dogs from 1986

I know this is some old footage of a 'human interest' story from the UK that was recently picked up by a Dutch television show. (Hence the subtitles at the bottom).  I watched it this morning and I thought it was hilarious. I'm not sure who is funnier, the dogs at the bar or the actual bartender, who is quite the card himself.   I'm a big fan of the German Shepherd and one day plan to have one, just don't tell that to my current guys.
I always appreciate timeless laughs.  :)

Youtube Video of Canadian Army Rebuilding a Jeep in the Street in 4 Minutes.

A little birdie who's a secret contributor to this blog site sent me this video of our boys in the Army doing a demonstration on their mechanical abilities. They roll in with a running, operational Jeep, take it apart down to the frame, and then re-assemble it and drive away all in about 4 minutes.  Pretty neat to watch, and makes you think you should be getting a better price at the repair shop for any Jeep repairs now.  Enjoy!

Dad Life - Great Tongue in Cheek Youtube Video About Being a Dad

So knowing my wife wants to be a secret blogger herself, she's been sending me things to put up here. I just so decided I would have to appease her, as I did chuckle quite a bit and this little gem of a youtube video.

Obviously once you start watching you'll see that it is quite appropriate for a blog by an author calling himself, "This Dad."  I don't really know if it needs much more explanation. It is rather fitting, and hits the mark in a funny way about what it's like to lose your sports car, your ten girlfriends and your weekends drinking beer with your pals when babies arrive. We still want to pretend were cool!

Enjoy!

Top Viewed YouTube Video's Ever - So Far

Since I posted the video of the stunning driving of Ken Block, it got me thinking about something. When I posted the video link to my site I noticed it had over four million views on Youtube at the time, that's right, four million.  I wondered, what video has the most views on the popular video site?  I did some searching and researching, and decided I'd post the findings here.  I personally don't want to watch all of them, but some of you might, since the top of the pile has been viewed over THREE HUNDRED MILLION times. I don't think I'll watch it once. <insert vomit noises here>.  I will however, force myself to watch two and four. A man does need to suck it up once and a while in the sake of good blogging. :)

Gymkhana Three : Best Youtube Video I've Ever Seen

I had to switch gears (almost literally) away from my Vancouver Canucks posts of late to show this video on my blog. This is a site called "A Man's Blog" after all, and if you're a man, you'll like this! If you don't like it, hmm, I'd be checking for a set..

I saw this posted to a forum I frequent and I laughed in amazement the whole way through. It sure doesn't look like video trickery... This man can DRIVE!!  Awesome, other than it's a Ford, but I'll forgive him.

This is just awesome! Don't be square, share! Easy one button icons right below!
